Azlan Shah Cup, 2019

The 28th edition of the Sultan Shah Cup hockey tournament was held in Ipoh (Ipoh), Malaysia between March 23-30, 2019.
India, Malaysia, Canada, Japan, Poland, and South Africa. Six teams, including Korea, participated in this tournament.
On March 30, at the Azlan Shah Stadium, India and South Africa, The final match between Korea ended at 1-1.
After that, in the penalty shoot-out. Korea defeated India 4-2 and won the title of the tournament for the third time (gold medal).
In the match played for third place, host Malaysia defeated Canada 4-2 to win the bronze medal.
Japan remained fifth and Poland sixth.

The prizes given in the competition should be as follows-

'Man of the match-finals' - Zhang Jong-Human (D.Coriyya)
'Player of the Tournament' - Surinder Kumar (India)
'Goalkeeper of the Tournament' - Kim Jahi-Hien (D.Coriya)
"Top Goal Scorer "- Mandeep Singh (India) and Zhang Jong Human (D. Korea) both scored 7-7 goals.
'Fair Play Award' - Japan

In the final, Indian team captain Manpreet Singh and coach John David.

Australia has won the title in the Azlan Shah Cup for the most ten times.

On March 27, 2019, the Union Cabinet gave a retrospective approval to the MoU on the startup cooperation between India and the Republic of Korea.
This agreement was signed in February 2019.
This agreement will encourage bilateral cooperation between the startup of the two countries.
This cooperation will be subject to their national laws and regulations and any such effective international treaties, conventions and agreements, which are related to the two countries.

On 29-30 March 2019, the Nepal Government organized 'Nepal Investment Summit, 2019' in Kathmandu.
It was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Nepal. P. Sharma Oli did.
The main objective of this event was to present Nepal as a favorable investment destination.
The Summit will unveil potential opportunities for investment in different areas in Nepal, including hydro, tourism, infrastructure, industry, transport, agriculture and information and communication technology.
During this Summit, 12 Memorandum of Understanding was signed.
77 projects of 31.93 billion dollars in different areas were displayed.
In this two-day program, more than 600 investors and representatives from 40 countries including India participated.

In March 2019, Tashigang, a small village in Himachal Pradesh, became the world's highest polling center.

India-US March 29, 2019, 16th Meeting of the Joint Working Group on Anti-Terrorism, Washington D.C. Organized in the US.

At the same time, both sides shared information about their priorities and procedures to advance the ban suggestions against terrorist groups and individuals.
